Gate 40 is a non-formal group created and based in Thessaloniki by a dynamic group of youngsters with a great deal experience in volunteering, writing and implementing European projects, coordinating teams and empowering youngsters. Our strong motivation and engagement brought us together to tackle what we consider the most crucial challenges of our society, such as discrimination, social exclusion, youth unemployment, lack of civic and social participation.

 

Aims and Objectives

 

 

Our aim is setting up a common space where youngsters get the chance to put their ideas into practice, being supported to achieve their personal fulfillment, to enhance their competences and intercultural awareness providing information about National, European and International program opportunities. This means empowering young people with skills and abilities to participate in the social life and to be active citizens.
